Registration is open. Paid commissions require an approved participating painter and a Stripe account ready to receive payouts. Unclaimed directory entries cannot accept orders.
BrushLink is a Chaotic Great project by Tim O’Brien. It connects buyers with independent miniature painters. Account and commission availability follows the launch status displayed on the site. Every painter needs manual profile approval and a payout-ready Stripe account before customers can pay them. An unclaimed directory entry is research from public sources, not a participating or approved painter.
Users must be adults, provide accurate information and keep account credentials private. Painters need ownership verification, profile approval and a payout-ready Stripe account before accepting paid work. Buyers and painters agree the model list, finish, preparation, kit supply, basing, revisions, delivery expectations and postage in the quote.
The planned platform fee is 3%, deducted from the painter’s payout; the accepted quote records the applicable fee. BrushLink currently absorbs payment processing costs. Buyers pay the accepted quote through Stripe Checkout. The application uses a platform charge followed by a delayed transfer to the painter. This is not a licensed escrow service. A payment success redirect alone does not confirm payment.
Once an order is marked delivered, the workspace displays its automatic release deadline. A buyer can confirm receipt to initiate release sooner. An open in-platform dispute pauses release. A message or support email alone does not change the order state; contact Tim if you cannot open a dispute. A transfer to the painter’s Stripe account and arrival in their bank are separate steps.
The pilot supports administrator-reviewed full refunds before painter payout. Partial refunds, automatic transfer reversals after payout and automatic handling of card chargebacks are not supported pilot workflows. Contact Tim immediately for an issue after payout. These software limits do not remove rights that apply under law. Repairs, replacement work and return postage require an agreed resolution rather than an automatic guarantee.
Use accurate portfolio images, descriptions, rates and reviews. Only upload material you have permission to share. Do not post private addresses, payment credentials or another person’s confidential information publicly. Fraud, harassment and false ownership claims can lead to account suspension. A completed commission is required for a buyer’s verified order review.
For support, ownership corrections, removal requests or questions about these terms, email tim@chaoticgreat.games. Material changes will be published here; agreed order terms remain recorded in the order workspace.
