BrushLink is a Chaotic Great project by Tim O'Brien, built to make commissioning painted miniatures easier for collectors, tabletop players, and the painters who do the work.
Finding a painter should start with their miniatures. Browse their work by painting style, game system, army, finish, and budget, whether you want a battle-ready squad, a grimdark army, or a display piece. Style and finish are different choices: grimdark describes the look; battle-ready and display describe the level of work.
The commission workflow brings the model list, assembly, basing, reference images, quote, messages, progress photos, and delivery tracking into one project. Painters control their prices and availability. Reviews come from buyers who complete a commission.
We want painters to keep as much of their commission as possible. Our platform fee is shown on the pricing page, with the amount a painter receives made clear before a quote is accepted.
We are starting with a small group of painters so we can work through real commissions together. Directory portfolios marked unclaimed are credited references to public work; those painters have not joined BrushLink or confirmed their availability. Claiming a profile requires ownership verification and approval.
Our launch status is shown across the site. During the directory preview, you can explore portfolios while account registration and paid commissions remain closed. Integrated postage purchasing is planned; shipping protection is not currently included.
