How it works
BrushLink is a two-sided marketplace. Buyers commission skilled painters; painters get a professional storefront and payment release after delivery. Here's how both sides work.
For buyers
Payment is transferred after buyer confirmation or the displayed release deadline, unless an in-platform dispute is open.
Browse vetted painters by game system, quality tier, and rating. Compare portfolios and read reviews from buyers who actually completed an order.
Describe your project — models, scale, the finish you want — and send a quote request. Painters reply with a clear, itemized, hobby-aware price.
When a quote works for you, accept it and pay. Your funds are charged through Stripe, with transfer delayed — the painter isn't paid yet.
Follow progress with work-in-progress photos and message your painter directly if anything needs a tweak along the way.
Finished minis are packed and shipped with tracking and breakage protection, so fragile models arrive safely.
Happy with the result? Confirm delivery to release the funds. If you don't act, payment releases after the displayed delivery deadline unless a dispute is open.
Share how it went. Only buyers with a completed order can review, so ratings stay honest and useful.
For painters
Set your own prices, receive funded orders, and get paid reliably through Stripe.
Create your account and submit your application. Every painter is reviewed by an admin before going public, so the marketplace stays high quality.
Once approved, upload your best work, set your styles and game systems, and tell buyers what makes your painting stand out.
Publish listings across quality tiers — Tabletop, Battle-ready, High, and Showcase — and set your own prices per model, per unit, or per army point.
Link a Stripe account so payments can reach you. Buyers pay on the platform; the painter receives a delayed Stripe transfer. Bank payout timing is separate.
Buyers send you project details. Review the scope and decide what you want to take on — you're always in control of your queue.
Reply with a clear, itemized quote. When the buyer accepts, they pay through Stripe before you start, so the work is funded up front.
Paint, share WIP photos, and ship. When the buyer confirms (or after the 7-day auto-release), your payout is released through Stripe.
Commission your next project or join the roster of painters earning on BrushLink.
