Registration is open. Paid commissions require an approved participating painter and a Stripe account ready to receive payouts. Unclaimed directory entries cannot accept orders.

The directory uses public painter names, business locations, portfolio links, credited work examples and researched service information. The application form records contact details, portfolio links, painting styles, location, availability, message and consent you provide. Campaign source, medium and campaign name from the application link help us measure recruitment. Operator emails contain counts and private admin links, not application content. For accounts and commissions, we also process account details, shipping addresses, requests, quotes, private messages and attachments, progress updates, tracking, reviews and payment references.
Directory entries, published painter portfolios, offers and reviews are public. Request and message photos use participant-authorized routes. Transaction participants receive the information needed for their commission; authorized administrators can review records for support and disputes. Keep sensitive details out of public portfolios and reviews.
Railway hosts the application and PostgreSQL database. Cloudflare proxies the website and stores processed images in R2. Postmark delivers application emails; recruitment correspondence is sent through business Gmail. Stripe processes card payments and painter onboarding. BrushLink retains payment identifiers and ledger records, not full card numbers. These providers process information needed to perform their services.
We use information to run the directory and commissions, verify ownership, contact people who express interest, send account and order notifications, provide support and prevent misuse. Unread-message emails contain a conversation link and count, not private message bodies or photos. An invitation does not subscribe a painter to a marketing mailing list.
Authentication uses cookies. Browser storage remembers your cookie choice and text drafts; commission and message drafts can remain in the current browser tab until cleared or successfully submitted. The current application does not call its optional analytics helper. We will update this notice before enabling additional analytics. Essential authentication is needed to use an account.
Account, commission and audit records remain in the database to operate the service, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Backups may retain earlier copies. Automated retention and deletion schedules are not yet implemented; Tim handles access, correction and deletion requests individually and explains any transaction records that must be retained. Ask us to remove an unclaimed directory entry or stop recruitment follow-up by emailing tim@chaoticgreat.games.
Access checks protect private commission records and images; passwords are hashed, and application access uses HTTPS. No service can guarantee perfect security. Do not send passwords, card details or bank credentials in messages or support email.
